B.C. Provincial Emergency Program
(PEP) Net
Meets every Wednesday at 7PM local
time on 3.735MHz. Forwards information from PEP to all amateur radio operators
in B.C.
BC Public Service Net
Meets daily at 01:30z on 3.729MHz,
or 5:30PM PST (Winters), and 6:30PM (Summers) This 90 minute net accepts
traffic for BC and any other locations within range.
VECTOR Net
An emergency preparedness focus
net meets every Wednesday, except the 1st Wednesday of each month, at 8PM
local time on BCFMCA VE7RPT repeater 146.940MHz (-600 KHz).
BC SSB NTS Traffic Net
In 2007 it was determined that the
British Columbia & Yukon Section was without a RAC recognized NTS net
on SSB. In an effort to rectify this situation, a new SSB net commenced
operation on January 14, 2008.
This SSB net liasies with RN7 and
provides opportunites for interested amateurs to learn about NTS net operation
and the passage of formal radio traffic. In addition, this net compliments
the long-running RAC approved BCEN (CW traffic net which meets nightly
on 3,652 kHz). RN7 meets daily on 3,925 kHz at 0945 and 1515 local Pacific
time.
British Columbia Emergency Net
The British Columbia Emergency Net
is a CW Traffic and Training Net and is part of the National Traffic System.
The BCEN meets daily at 19:00 Pacific time (18:00 during poor band conditions
in the winter months as required) on 3652 KHz. All radio Amateurs are welcome.
British Columbia/Yukon Traffic
Net (BCYTN)
The BCYTN meets daily on 3716 KHz
at 0230 UTC (Summer) 0330 UTC (Winter).
We are a NTS net which liaises with
BCEN and RN7 nets.
B.C. Northern Net
Sunday, Wednesday evenings at 0300
